EST
BōHEME HOUSE is more than a residence. It has rooted in our passions for bespoke design & unique experiences.
RESTAURANT
Upon opening the doors of BōHEME HOUSE, don’t be surprised not to find the usual reception. We invite you into our home, so upon entering, you’ll be greeted by our lobby – a cozy living room inspired by the spirit of the legendary Conrad confectionery, a staple of the community for over 140 years. In the independent Lithuania, it was the first spontaneously-founded center of culture and informal art conversation, which hosted the discussions of the artistic community, and the atmosphere was set to build relationships and long-term contacts.
Over a few years, BōHEME HOUSE has grown and the tiny living room became too tight, so this is why in May 2024 we have opened a new chapter – the doors to the new restaurant.
A short dossier of the new restaurant:
- up to 55 seating places
- up to 85 standing places
- windows opening to the city during the warm season, providing a refreshing terrace feel
- sound system, projector, and a 3-meter screen for your private or commercial events
- and, of course, a unique interior that enriches both everyday breakfast and your most important celebrations
- drinks & meals are available to enjoy at 4 spaces – restaurant, lobby bar, rooftop terrace or cinema lounge
- everyday brunch & lunch
- aperitif snacks & cocktails with panoramic sunset
- afternoon tea as a perfect concept for your business event
- seasonal tasting dinners for private celebrations (please note we do organize open tasting dinners once in a month)
Please check our opening hours and book a table +370 668 21 771
To reserve a date for your special occasion or for any other questions, feel free to reach out by filling the form provided below, we will be pleased to contact you and to tell you more about what awaits us all upcoming spring.

ROOF TERRACE
BREATHTAKING VIEWS
Even though not many roofs of the Kaunas Old Town offer a bird’s eye view to the city, it was still the 1920s where the upper floors of the first representative Bank of Lithuania were hiding the wonderful roof terraces, lush with greenery. We wish and hope for this tradition to return to Kaunas, but for now, we invite you to experience the breathtaking sunsets in the BōHEME HOUSE roof terrace. 360° panoramic views cover the entire Kaunas Old Town, the towers of the city hall, then go all the way to the Christ’s Resurrection Church and the green slopes of Aleksotas.
We invite the apartment guests to pick some fresh strawberries, grown in our terrace, get some mint leaves for a cup of tea, enjoy the breakfast, or admire the sunsets.
For your special events for up to 20 people, we offer an opportunity to book the terrace. We suggest two different menus: a la carte and a tasting dinner. For further information or book a table +370 668 21 771.

CINEMA LOUNGE
WOULD YOU LIKE TO SPEND TIME IN A PRIVATE CINEMA THEATRE?
During the interwar period, Laisvės Alėja was known as the cinema boulevard, as it was home to a total of 12 cinemas. Romuva, the final such building opened during the independence period, was a true cultural hub and remained that way until the present. Romuva was known for its modernist architecture and has one subtle urbanistic decision, livening up the perimeter block of the Laisvės Alėja. The watchman’s apartment, built in the semi-basement reflects the interwar tradition to build living areas in the public buildings. This romanticism of Romuva has inspired us to prime and reimagine the most unusual spaces of BōHEME HOUSE.
The semi-basements of BōHEME HOUSE will invite you to dive into the mystical Cinema Laundry lounge space. The unusual convergence of functions – a cinema space and a laundry room all in one will lead you to discover some monumental experiences. The amphitheatre, housing 12, invites you to watch sports events or sample exquisite wines with a side of cinema – all on a dazzling 4-meter-wide screen. For further information and bookings call +370 668 21 771.
We treat each space as an opportunity to have a pleasant stay. Let’s watch a movie & have a glass of wine while.. Laundering.
