In the 1920s, Kaunas saw the inception of modern ballet, influenced and including characters by Harlequin, Pierrot, and Columbine. Olga Kalpokienė Dubeneckienė, the pioneer of modern ballet, was regarded not only as a representative for high culture, but the cabaret culture as well. Her art focused heavily on the reflections of ordinary life, which we represented with the modern pieces of painting and graphical art.
Ballet Dancer Apartment Nō4 is all painted in a beige palette with soft and natural materials to remind you of the Lithuanian sand dunes, where Olga Kalpokiene Dubeneckiene has created the nude acts. Apartment’s interior, full of rich and soft textures, will create a deep sense coziness. Rounded sofa and round mirrors will spin you like a pirouette. Extended king size bed and a soft, fluffy, especially comfortable anatomical mattress by Lonas.
